It's not the directors fault (except that they are to tolerant) it's the calibre of 'glamour' model you get these days. The problem is they are not particularly glamorous at all and haven?t got the slightest clue about those traditional areas of female expertise - make-up and lingerie. So, if they can't be bothered, it's hardly surprising that the guys can't be bothered to rush out and buy their videos.
Had a model up here the other week. She asked me what she should wear for the shoot and as I wasn't feeling over imaginative that day I thought, well you just can't go wrong with black stockings and suspenders. So, she rummages through her Tesco carrier bag and then announces that she hadn't got any stockings and suspenders. Well, I couldn't get my breath! Imagine a bricky turning up for work without his firkin trowel! Imagine your doctor forgetting his stethoscope! Imagine a Policeman without his truncheon. (Ohhh, Matron!) Anyway, she explains away this case of gross professional malpractice by saying "Oh, most producers and photographers like girls with bare legs nowadays." And I'm thinking, "well I fuckin don't and my punters don't" but of course I bit my lip. I guess those other photographers either have to like bare legs, or lump them.

Then they should be truncheoned to within an inch (2.4cm) of their lives, until they become less tolerant.
The irony is that, as far as I'm aware, stockings/heels are MORE popular amongst women now than in the awful platforms/tights-infested 70s, for example.
