She is the silly misguided lady who fell for 'slasher' Pete and wanted to marry him on the strength of their correspondance without meeting him.
The authorities were spot on and refused this so Sandra (or Swanne) kicked off on all kinds of trashy TV shows and made herself look incredibly naive.
Of course, she has his letters and has decided to cash in and at the same time trying to stop old lags in for murder don't have pen-pals just incase someone else has the same idea and cashes in.
