I'll agree with you on this one but tell me, how did black people get prejudiced? I contend that it was done over the course of decades after slavery was abolished because my reading of african history tells me we were very friendly towards the whites who came there and we were trading with the asians also.

You know, I think you and Alice's ignorance is only surpassed by the inabilty to recognize it. To say Rodney deserved what he got is crazy. We don't know him personally and we only know what was reported about him. People who are so-called prejudiced or racist as far as I know here in the states usually don't associate with that said race. You all just don't believe that if a white cop beats a black man, he can't stand black people. If he were beating up BOTH black and white people it would be different. By the way, have you ever heard of a black cop beating up on white criminals on a daily basis? Most likely not. The police force won't allow it. What you guys need to do is study the american police force in the big cities and I contend you'll be surprised. Here in Chicago alone we have a long history of police torturing of black people by white officers and the black officers just stand by and watch and if they say anything about it they'll lose their jobs. You Alice and Mucho live in the UK so I don't expect you to know a goddamn thing about what happens here on a daily basis and/or the history of racism against blacks so some of what you say is....MOOT!
