Whoa! Hold on the reins. When I said not in my eyes I wasn't implying even to the slightest that ALL whites were racist. I meant some were and some weren't. If Alice said that SOME blacks were criminals I'd agree but then again most of us are not. I would know that.

You said 'some whites 'aren't' prejudiced', which implies most are. But this is by the way....

My post above was referring to your statement, replying to Wazza. You said blacks weren't racist in the first place, and if they are now then it's a reaction to how blacks were treated in the past.

This itself implies that blacks were morally superior to whites, which is not the best road to go down to win this argument with Alice & Mutcho. You are elevating your own race above another, and without intention, which actually makes it slightly worse.

Whites acted immorally because they had the power to. A role reversal, where blacks landed on the European coast, with gun powder, and an organised military would most probably have acted much the same as the whites did at that time. I don't think the role reversal would have meant less slavery, or less racism & prejudice. The whites just happened to have the power to express their ignorance.

The recent uproar regarding a certain nobel prize winner stating the black people are less intelligent than whites, is only the same as saying black people are morally superior, or less prejudiced. All are statements without much evidence.

I'm just saying you & Wazza were winning the argument anyway, so have no need to sink to a level that hints at your own prejudices.

I gotcha! Naw! It wasn't my intention to elevate the race morally but I THOUGHT I was making a statement based on historical facts. If you want to question morality then just study the history of Africa and how the different tribes and countries became muslim, christian etc. Certainly some waring going on, but I understand where ya comin' from.
