I have been listening to views by women on women who do porn, page 3 and so on.

Comments that are made are negative. The women say that as feminists that they consider other women doing this work degrading.

This then reminds me of my grandmother who said years back that feminists only represented the middle class and not working class. She ran her own business, but never felt that the feminist issues helped the working class.

This takes me back to these comments. Most if not all seem to come direct from middle class women, with degrees and well paid jobs.

I would argue that a feminist should encourage ALL women to pursue there caress, regardless of what the career is.

I suspect that many of these middle class feminists would rather see girls who do porn, rather work for ?2.50 per hour stacking shelves in a supermarket, rather than earning ?200 per hour (or whatever) doing porn, and earning good money to give them opportunities that they would have never had say from stacking shelves. It gives women the opportunity if they wish to go to university, or buy property, or indeed whatever they want.

I would conclude that the feminists are manly middle class who, feel that unless you go to university, that you should not be earning as much money or indeed more money than they do.

Up to now I have not heard any argument to say why it is wrong for people to do porn and why it is degrading towards women or indeed men. I would consider stacking shelves for the rest off your life and taking 'crap' from your boss, each day, far more degrading.

I would even argue that any model (male or female) has to be 'clever' to do well. There are lots of girls doing this (as you can see from all girls listed), but only a handful seem to be earning very very well from it and indeed are very well known. Indeed I have often said that like popstarts somone who does porn should have a good agent (I suspect some do).

Just thought I would popst this, as I often hear negative (and often untrue comments) made by middle class femanists.

Before I go, how about also setting up a male section on this site, listing what films male stars have been in, I would find it interesting to see how many films certain mail actors have done. You could even do a top ten, no one being the most films somone has been in.

It's those whinging Daily Wail readers, again. Nobody forces the girls to do porn, either videos or pix., so the wimmins' arguement falls at the first fence. Sure, there is aften a fiscal reason why some girls will pose or be filmed, and it's their choice to do so, but I don't notice a look of degredation on any faces when the results are published, the expression in the eyes would give that away without the model realising it.

I feel that comments made, have not been thought out, its an istant response. So any mention of porn = bad. I would not mind if a decent argument was given, but I just never hear any argument given, its just women who do porn or degrading themselves and others. If you say anything different, you are classed straight away as some 'perve'.

I do find that there seems to be a class difference when it comes to porn. Latley I have been in two work places, which the workforce was mainly womon. At both places the women had a night out at a strip show (male strippers). At both times the working class women had a great time, but the middle class women hated it, and said it was disgusting. This I found interesting.

So, is it a class issue?

Yeah, it must be, as the middle classes look down on the lower classes who are uninhibited enough to enjoy having fun; and they look up at the upper classes who can afford to have more fun than the lower classes. The middle classes are, as their name reveals, stuck in the middle, unable to comprehend, or take part in, either activity. I firmly believe that MC wimmin only have sex with their husbands/lovers/boyfriends etc because they see it as their duty, no more, hence the always negative views. They certainly don't appear to enjoy any of it.

I do apologise to you both for innocently intruding on your private feud, you see in my naivety I thought this thread was about class attitudes to porn! I can see now that I was hopelessly wrong.

You will have gathered that Officer Dibble has little time for fools, idiots and knob heads and has brought Allan to task in previous threads for exhibiting one, or more of these traits. But credit where credit?s due, his post on class and porn is a faultless piece of social observation of something that is of huge importance to anyone who has an interest in the adult entertainment industry, whether they realise it or not. I know there are some here who find any probing of the class/porn issue uncomfortable (probably because they are middle class) but it is a real issue that affects us all. The vast majority of the people who express public opinions and make laws that restrict your freedom and even put you in jail are middleclass, not working-class and not (usually) upper class. It?s those fuckers who are to blame. Now, I?m not tarring all the middle class with the same brush, it?s just that politically correct, hand wringing, lefty, Guardian reading public sector variety that are to blame. Those ungrateful po faced cunts are constantly sniping at anything that is even remotely like fun and also at the private sector that are paying their generous public sector salaries and pensions.

Why do they do it then? They usually pick all the middleclass ?issues? crap up at ?uni? where to be really cool they have to join the coolest gangs on campus ? you know, like the ?Anti Globalisation Gang? The ?Albanian Lesbian Wimmin?s Group? ?The GM Crop Victims Support Group? and all those other pretentious poncy little gangs. Most of ?em grow up to realise they are talking and acting like twats and become solicitors and bank managers, but some are made of sterner stuff and continue with their ADOPTED beliefs to become Labour backbenchers, university lectures, social workers, teachers etc, where they can do untold damage to the fabric of the Nation. The annoying thing is that they simply adopt these poncy views to be cool and fit in with their group and peers. If National Socialism suddenly became fashionable again they would jump on that bandwagon! In fact they did, 65 years ago in Germany.

Richy has got it slightly wrong when he singles out ?The Daily Mail? which is aimed at elderly, lower middleclass types ? think ?Hyacinth Bucket? and ?Victor Meldrew? who think they are a cut above, but in reality are not all that much brighter than ?White Van Man? who they turn their collective noses up at. These ?Mr Angrys? are not the real danger; they are objects of fun that are literally dying out by the day. Far more dangerous is the younger lower middleclass Guardian reading types, THEY AR3E the State that forces you to do things you do not want to do, stops you doing things you want to do and takes your money to spend it on things you would not want to spend it on in a million years. Come the revolution I look forward to giving them ?a good slap? to deprogram them and show them the error of their ways.
