Poxy Child On Board

we all seen em,those signs in the back of cars/4x4's etc that say "Child on board" or somthing similar.

Well as far as I can tell as soon as you put one in your car you can then drive like a complete twat.
You then have to speed like a racer,not use any mirrors,not use your inidcators,use your mobile,eat or drink while not looking at the road,
pull out of side turnings infront of on comming traffic,not have all your brake lights working so when you pull up sharply because you where speeding nobody behind you knows youve stopped till its too late.

these people need their heads testing and I see far too many on the roads.

You shouldn't have to take extra care because there's a mollycoddled brat in the car in front as your normal driving conduct should be enough.

It's the insinuation that it isn't that some find annoying.

Yeah, and these "(insert baby name of choice) On Tour" stickers are silly as well.

As if anyone gives a fuck (but looking at it from the other side, I suppose as a doting parent, you can't imagine why anyone **wouldn't** be interested in the fruit of your loins).

TLW is right - good driving isn't / shouldn't be dependent on the presence of a sprog in the car in front.

I agree that the standard of driving should not change because of the age of the people in the car but its the way that these signs give the impression that you should BACK OFF !!

But as we know and see everyday the standard of driving of a lot of other roadusers(cars bikes buses hgv) is bad.
