Clapton (?) song help please

Hey y'all

Not a fan of "old slow hand" as a general rule but heard a track today that my Dad assure's me is a Clapton track. I cant get the bloody tune out of my head but only caught a few of the lyrics was wondering if any one could PLEASE help?

If I heard correct there is some thing in the first verse about Masseratti's and the final verse has got a line that goes some thing like "I go to parties" some thing some thing "Thier all so different but im just the same"

Sorry I know it aint much to go on. If you was to ring me I could whistle it to ya lol For some reason the stucture and tempo of the track keeps making me think of the Everly's "Crying in the rain" if that helps.....no thought not. Ho hum

So any one please fecking help me!!
