All the school "kids" in that series were in the late 20s early 30s.

Yep and Duffy must have been 30 ish he was in Special Branch in the 70s just after FSG

I loved Deryck Guyler, used to go see him play drums at a jazz pub called the lord napier in London.

I watched the Please sir movie a year ago and thought it was a bit dated, but I always liked the half hour show much more,
is the dvd worth a watch then Stevie?

Yeah its not bad i have the Please Sir film too somewhere ;spotted George Baker in the last episode there was a spin off called bowler.
