Scotland and Northern Ireland done their nations proud. Wales were inconsistent but got some good results.
England were shocking i was suprised Lineker, Wright and co were still not thinking England could win the whole thing!
They had the easiest group in all sections yet had to rely on Israel and even then they made an arse of it!
England dont even rank in the second tier of european football!

Well what a great game! At least it wasn't dull.....lol.

We've conceded 7 goals with 4 being goalkeeping clangers during the qualifiers and we handed Croatia 3 goals in 2 games - not good.

Mind you, Croatia were brilliant tonight, you cannot take that away from them. England were donkeys though, I mean Croatia lost to Macedonia a few days ago.

Like I've said on more than one occasion before: England pick athletes, and try and turn them into footballers, while other countries pick footballers and train them into athletes. You've got to pick footballers first.

None of England's defence tonight contained a footballer that has a first touch.

I remember when we didn't qualify under Taylor (was it 94?) and they were talking about training technical skills over strength and fitness back then. They're saying the same thing right now on Sky 13 years later....lol.

I'll definitely need some help about what to do with myself throughout next summer!

Ireland, Wales and Scotland ALWAYS do their nations proud, and England ALWAYS make an arse of it, whether we don't qualify, or get knocked out on penalties in the quarters.

It's all bollocks. You're either good enough, or your not, and this time, England weren't good enough.

The Ireland of 1990 was the best English 2nd 11 going around and did both countries proud by boring all & sundry to death with 0-0,1-1 scorelines followed by penalty shootouts

I've been saying it for years and I'll say it again. England's problem has always been England and always will be, if they continue to live off past glories - or glory, and stop thinking that they have got a God given right not just to be at every tournament, but to think they are going to win it before a ball has even been kicked.

Using injuries is a piss poor excuse. To listen to England they are the only country to have injuries. England have enough players to make 5 teams. Countries far smaller in size and population have qualified and don't they have injuries to key players? To think that England finished in the same position as NI and Scotland.
