He's keeping quite because of the incident
was in Rome a few years ago and saw the Pope on the balcony waving but I couldn't hear what he was saying. The next week I got there earlier so I was nearer, but I still couldn't hear. The final weekend of my visit I got right to the front. Out he came on to the balcony, and straining to hear above the noise from the assembled throng, all I could make out was ' Get the fuck off my garden'.

It's Christmas---of course he has a song out. I've no idea what it is, but it's bound to make The Archies sound like The Kaiser Chiefs.
