Dont forget that since the second world war, western governments have installed, supported, aided, propped up, turned a blind eye to, a large number of the tyrants that have dispoiled Africa. The USSR as was also did its share. To a large extent the sad mess that is a lot of Africa today is a result of them having to fight our cold war with Russia by proxy.
