Alas Magoo is always posted A.W.O.L. I think he has been at those cough sweets and ginger beer again.
PEOPLE think Stephen Hawking is so clever, but when you ask him a question and he is typing in the answer on his little screen, how do we know he isn't just looking up the answer on the Internet?

I don't think that the fat can drain off. If you left it to drain off it would congeal again.

Goose is supposed to be greasy.

Turkey does get very dry. The way to prevent this is to cook it with peaches and apples. Shove 'em where the stuffing would normaly reside. Also, surround it with baking foil and roast it very slowly on a low heat.

Lawson, what does she know about it?

Yay, I'm getting a 10lb goose for ?35. Half of what I was going to pay.

Goose for Christmas dinner washed down with some sauvignon blanc, then......with cornflake buns and baileys over ice in the evening!
