Creme Eggs and Caramac I've never liked - yuk. Picnic and Twix agreed, have become disgusting - yuk. And the same with Lion bars - absolute vomit !puke!

Lion bars went hideous very quickly, can't see how there is a market for them; as soon as they grace the tastebuds, your brain is shouting, "Spit!! Launch! Eject!". Five-star ming factor. There must be one deviant in the UK who likes them and buys them in industrial quantities, that'll be it.

Eat one of them in a hot/humid environment, or in a moving vehicle, and you'll be spewing mid-bar.

Mintos - they've also become revolting.

Why are confectionery manufactures destroying our sweets and chocolates?

Might be the Muffin pact of 1899, who conceded the 20th century to sweeties on the premise the get the 21st. We are in the changing of the (Danish) baton period, where Millies Cookies, Baskin Robbins and Starbucks slaughter all.

Now I like blueberry muffins, but not strawberry or chocolate chip ones. Very strange I know.

Cadbury Bournville used to be delicious - now it's gone down the drain with almost all the chocolate of our younger days !sad!
