Lol, nope. Though I do tell the girls I'm a natural athlete !wink!

Just general diet & training regimes that used to keep me fit. Over the past 18 months though, I've gone from a 30" waist with 8-9% body fat, upto a 36" waist!

After Christmas I'll have to start running again.

Love my running mate, haven't been that motivated. I'm a natural athlete, but I've went from 30" to 32 with the winter blanket coming on. Ay my leanest, I weigh 77kgs/ 12st, weighed in at 82kgs/ just shy of 13st yesterday, 30" waist, 6-9% body fat. I think you have to be sub-6% for the abs to shine.

Gonna take up new sports next year, maybe a combat sport, Muay-Thai or suchlike. Tennis too. I'm very much in the fitness, and in a Footie, Snooker and Golf rut at the mo. Get a wee bit impatient when it comes to attempting to mastering a new project/ goal. Want it all too soon!

Running is the fast-track to natural highs, 'the buzz' and amazing sleep. I've gotta get training for the half-marathon next year, compete with my mates for charity. My general claim to fame, being a proud fan of the Celtic is not only tanning my mates, but I beat Paul LeGuen, French ex-manager of Rangers in 2006!! Found it funny, !wink!

Let me know how you get on, if you want some tips, let me know. What height are you, btw? A big 6'1" lummox like me? Or a nippy smallish fella?

Only 5'8'' fella. Been into Muay Thai since I was seven, but packed it in when I was about 24 due to a girlfriend who didn't like it, and a job with long hours. I was a decent welterweight too - was semi-pro for a while (5-0) but there's no money in it, and boxing was boring for me. You learn a more open defence in Muay Thai because of the head kicks, and stopping clinches, so boxing to boxing takes some getting used to.

You SHOULD get into Muay Thai if you wanna stay fit. Running is great for the endurance, but for stamina, and working all your muscles, as well as mental concentration, then Muay Thai is the bomb.

At 6'1'' and below 8% body fat, those abs should be ripped - mine were, but it took me down to a 29" waist, and it's an arse getting decent jeans at that size.

Did a half marathon about................5 years ago, in a time of 1:32. I ran with my girlfriend till about halfway though and she came in at 1:50ish if I remember rightly. Some Royal Marines came in just behind me at 1:35, wearing fucking full combats, leather boots and 20 kilo back packs!

I might start a blog after the new year, reporting my progress on getting back into shape. Just stating what exercise I'm doing, a little on my diet, and other relevant stuff; I don't know yet.

That Christmas dinner comes first!
