I was just saying get better shots on the site, and not to look 'average', give yourself a 'look', and target your market.

I was not trying to put her down, just saying she looks averagem and average market is huge.

In other words if you poped in a vid, would you know it was her, like you do with other models.

Hey Dibble, What planet are you living on? I have NEVER in all my 15 years in the business heard such crap! I've never had a set of pictures turned down because the girl had tattoos or piercings.
Look around you today (that's the REAL world the rest of us live in) nearly all porn actresses have tattoos.
If you have your own personal tastes then fair enough, make your own movies your own way, but in the meantime don't be such an arse!

Thanks for all your replies and your honesty!
I have to confess that part of the reason for posting was to see if people like me and on the whole it seems you do.
I know that being 'alternative' puts some people off but I think all people should be themselves not what others want them to be.

I have decided to be the Goth/metal chick 24/7 so what you see is what you get.The tatoos and piercings are part of what makes me me. I will keep on pluging away and trying to make a go of this so i'll be here to be a pain for a while yet!

Scoff if you will John, but most of the producers I know, and that includes some mutual friends and associates, at the very least turn their noses up at models displaying this lack of sartorial elegance. There may be those who are resigned to it, but they certainly don't encourage it.

Your quite correct in pointing out that most of the porn actresses have tats nowadays, but maybe that's why the punters interest in adult video seems to be somewhat diminished of late? Have you thought of that? I'm sure Autumn will be relived to hear of your laid back attitude to tats and piercings (personal taste John?) as no doubt you will personally be putting loads of work her way.

And Jay, I attended a casting session some 18 months ago when I and two producer colleagues (well known to John) were auditioning for models to appear in our videos - Violet Strom was one of those who bothered to turn up in all her tattooed, silicon glory. Although she was one of the best there and showed at least some professionalism by actually turning up, she was never for an instant seriously considered for the job by any of the different producers present. However, if she'd turned up as a normal girl I'm quite sure she would have been hired - apart from her 'image' everyone who's met her speaks highly of her.

As for Michelle Thorn, producers give her extra leeway by virtue of her being very attractive and good-looking - she stands out a mile when agencies send you wedges of pics of models on their books. This combined with her 'name' means she can add value you to your project and actually make it sellable. Hey, even Officer Dibble (who knows when he's onto a good thing) would hire her ? Michelle darling! What?s the odd tattoo between colleagues, he he he?

I don?t usually have any reason to agree with John but I have to break the habit of half a lifetime.
Take the model for what she is, if you are good at your job you will find the right film for her with the right styling and if she is any good as a porn actress then how can you go wrong. John and myself have shot enough girls over the years, and not always the prettiest, to know that the girl puts in what she has. If she has enthusiasm, plus tattoos and bits of obsolete space stations in various parts of the body then we have to put in the rest and do the best job we can.
I have contacted Autumn anyway and if she does what I need she has a job. If you want to see the results and judge for your self then get your name down for the vid now. You never know, you could help make her a star.
