Quite a mature attitude, rather than blubbing about it like some of them do or blaming the ref/linseman.
An attitude not fit for a captain imho. There's being mature, and then there's acting like you seriously couldn't give a fuck. Gerrard chose the latter.
Anybody silly enough to think England are going to play well when they very rarely do and have not done for donkeys years deserves to lose their money.
Without the fans we wouldn't have internationals. A stupid statement.
personally I would not have let Keane captain
That's your opinion, but I'd hazard a guess that 3/4 of people, whether English, Irish or Scottish, would have had a Keane as captain of their side. You can't argue with Unteds record while he was captain, nor Fergie's choice.

Capplelo will need Becks early on to convey what Fab wants of the team- Beckham will be selected.

Although their relationship may be ropey, Becks knows his style, idealologies, tactics and outlook- and can still turn it on for his country- so he should be selected by Fab to help get the message across, and also as a contender to start.

imo Capello is the best coach in the world(experience wise). But how he handles the sometimes cocky and cavalier attitudes of the England players remains to be seen, but his record at Milan,Real Madrid(1st spell) speaks for itself.

My only worry is how will his attitude be if/when England play the eyeties in an important game. This man is a die-hard Italian,so it'll be very interesting to see what happens.

In hindsight i wished that Mourinho would of taken the job as i'm totally bricking it that the great man himself is heading to Liverpool next summer.
