its the number 1 time of the year to screw the customer trumpy
the x-mas presents have been & gone
now the shops are trying to get a hold of all that cash given as a gifts
boxing day sales followed by new years sales

Re: Boxing Day Sales!!
I'll confess that I do go to the boxing day sales...... but its usually just for dvds and games for my consoles, I don't require a sofa.
Last year I had the radio on whilst going to Manchester centre and the local radio were interviewing people who were queuing up outside Next for their sale, they had been there since 4 in the morning!!!! beggars belief especially as the Next sale is fucking diabolical because they take out all their good stock and fill the shelves with shite from their clearance shops and every year people flock to buy it all.

Yeah maybe in Australia Buttsie ... but our British retailers have never been known to rip the shit out of us as we always get such a braw deal to start with, so can I just say "Not On My Watch, Guv!!"

Re: Boxing Day Sales!!
new year is about the only time you'll pick up a bargain
Got a few friends that work in retail and the shite stuff is put out just after x-mas,any bargains are always helfd back to the new year
knowing exactly what you want and not getting sucked in to buy anything other than that is the key
they used to have some REAL bargains like 4/5 fridges marked down by
90 percent except some silly bugger lost 2 fingers in the crush to get to them they never repeated it ever again

So you lost 2 fingers then ...
Yes I agree the phrase "Boxing/January Sale" does tend to get every cunt and his granny poncing down the shops to pick up a bargain, but you and I are wiser than that and know that the real sales will start after they have got rid of all the shite that has been gathering dust in their shops for the last 12 months, then my friend we will pounce with wallets of gold for bargains of old.

Re: Boxing Day Sales!!
I got my fridge for free(fell off the back of a truck)
I've never been into those sort of gimmicky bargains
Same as the so called bargains in the weekly junkmail that never seem to exist and don't
Set the alarm clock for 6.00am January 2nd 2008
Now I'm off to strengthen my elbows
Might even decide not to shower from now to then...should make light work of any crowds of queues

chav tastic
i'm sorry, but if you're going shopping today then you are the commonest form of chav. I mean, what was Christmas to you? An inconvenience from your shopping habits? I think it's terrible that people are out shopping instead of being with family or helping others. Anyway, i ill write more i've pilfered jims new laptop and i can hear him waking up....hehehe!

It is the same here - but that doesn't prevent many stores from opening.
