Sorry for writing on this again, but thought best to let you know of the latest
Have used both the postocodes for Fiona Cooper, PO. Box 16, Halifax, West Yorkshire, HX1 1EU, England.
Tried both these p.codes HX1 1BR and HX1 1EU
Both times got my money sent back to me, the only thing this could mean is that they no longer accept orders by post anymore, only credit card must be accepted
used both fiona cooper p/codes, both don't work

Contact them by e-mail and find out for certain.......I think the consensus last time was that you'd be better off ordering online, anyway.
My last order arrived practically by return of post.

Yeah. I've ordered by post many times, either with my CC, or a cheque, and the tape has always turned up within 3-4 days. They obviously don't want to deal with cash purchaces.

No Chris, the only thing it means is that they don't accept YOUR orders, period.
Officer Dibble - he's had a careers worth of experience of, er 'excentric' clients.

Re: used both fiona cooper p/codes, both don't wor
I can confirm that Fiona Cooper ARE accepting orders through the post.
I ordered a DVD on 10.6.02, received 13.6.02; another one ordered 19.6.02, recieved 22.6.02.
Both paid by CC, using their reply paid envelopes.
Perhaps it is just that they won't accept your orders for some reason?

I don't want to stir, but I have to wonder whether
a) Chris is making all this up, as he perhaps works for someone who sees FC as competition, or
b) Chris has incomprehensible handwriting, and is not clearly specifying the goods he wants, and/or is paying the wrong amount for the items concerned.

Catalogue postcode
According to the FC catalogue in front of me here, the postcode is HX1 1EU.
Can we talk about something else, now ?

Re: Catalogue postcode
Postcode, hostcode! There's nothing wrong with the naffing postcode. Fiona Cooper's been trading from the same address for over 10 years. Don't you think, particularly after recent events, that every fucker in Halifax knows who, or what 'Fiona Cooper' is? Never mind the staff at the Post Office! I'll wager that that if you simply put 'FIONA COOPER? and a stamp on your letter and stuck it in a post box in Dover, for instance, it would safely arrive at its intended destination a few days later!
No, the problem lies with Chris. He's either pulling your legs, or - if some of his posts are anything to go by - he's more probably 'one arrow short of a quiver!'
Officer Dibble.

Re: Catalogue postcode
OK, Dibble, just calm down, will you. I had no intention of extending this trivial thread (again) about a bloody postcode, and as I quoted from the catalogue, that should be the end of it, shouldn't it? I was merely attempting to end the matter, once and for all. OK?
