I lived in Canada for a while and you could rent vids there for about three to four quid, new releases and everything, with a massive selection. It was great

as a shop owner I have been thinking about rentals but there would have to be the usual i.d. situation to become a member and i think this has always put people off in the past due to nature of product and having to give personal details but perhaps with everything now at last becoming mainstream maybe this would not be a problem, would like to hear some opinions, thanks.

If you rented out a video or dvd that had an R18 classification then you would break the law under the VRA unless you had a sex shop licence. Having said that it would be interesting to see a mainstream video rental company apply for a waiver of licence so that R18's could be rented legally. Jobby.
