Eric and Ernie BBC1

Post by BeestonBoy »

Hey

Just finished watching perhaps the best program I have watched in years "Morcombe and Wise in their own words" I sat completly enthralled and must admit cried a little at the end.

Any one else see it?

Happy new year all

Missed it, sadly . . . but I'm sure it'll be repeated so I'll watch out for it.

Excellent offering. I saw *new* material of theirs never seen before.
New comedians on the block, and even established-think-their-funny comedians should watch these two to see how its 'really' done.
Even Wossy was impressed.......and he's so far up Gervais's arse, you'd expect some cynical snotty comment..........but there wasn't.
A good programme!

The West London of my youth is now on dvd

You want to watch out Ace, you'll have people saying that you're not bright enough to understand the 'genius' of the Gervais.
The strange thing about the Gervais argument is that it really does split everyone down the middle, there's no sitting on the fence, "Well, yeah, he's alright I suppose", none of that malarky; either you think he's a genius or an untalented tosser.
One film that was shown on Channel Four last night is the best comedy film ever and more relevant, vital and f*****g funny. And the name, ta da:

The life of Brian. Anyone disagree?

I'm watching it all in Opera, Jacques. It works in Opera on the powerbook too.

Hold on, I'll try in safari on the mac....

Yep, it all works in Safari, but I know what you mean now...

All the streaming works, regardless of browser, but you can only download in IE......that's true.
