They are mad! I think it's the garlic, and living next door to Germany that does it. Mind you, I don't like your terminology about em. We can't say that sort of thing these days.

I used to an avid reader of the 'Gruniad' until that hatchet-faced witch Germaine Greer started a column ( Imagine oneself on a construction site getting aggro for reading that, I was actually accused of being gay for reading said broadsheet)

Nowadays I purchase 'The daily Torygraph'. I ignore the editorials and the bias and concentrate on the news and sports. The foreign section is particularly good. I also had a soft spot for 'Dear' Bill Deeds when he was still alive, although the man was a dyed in the wool tory, he struck me as a bright and perceptive. Completely opposite the image the 'Private Eye' portrayed.
