I haven't eaten one for years, used to love them as a kid.

I love pork pies - the real one's that is, not those that have ultra rock hard pastry covering a blob of gray looking matter that is embedded in a small vat of lard.

I once had a birthday ruined by a Scotch pie. Went right through me, a la Trumpy's latest disaster, before I could even get started drinking myself into insensibility.
One of the better name bakers that produces this delicacy was recently fined for health and hygiene offences that would make you spew your ring.
As for pork pies, the horrible jelly stuff puts me off. Disgusting, it is.
