I thought Gregg's was a Scottish company - as in Gregg's of Rutherglen?

I've heard of Wallace Bakers - they're famous in Scotland. They were fortunate only to be fined 4K - those conditions were disgusting!

It keeps our lower intestines well exercised.

The food equivalent of Russian roulette involves a Scotch pie or shellfish.

Not familiar with Panda pop, I'm afraid, unless it's some obscure reference to Dusty Springfield's mascara.

The sad thing is that Wallace was well respected and thought of---possibly still is. But to allow conditions like that is criminal.

One of the frightening aspects of life is that your life and safety depends so often on someone who doesn't give a stuff about doing their job properly. Food manufacturers are bad enough. But how about people who put cars together, make tyres, wire your home, programme traffic lights . . . . all sorts of things.

Next time you're at work, thinking you can't be bothered and "that will do," bear in mind others with more important jobs than yours may be thinking the same.

It's a case of 'that will do' attitude not being the correct response to any work and work related situation.
