Re: I am Legend
Yeah thougt it was a good film too. Especially since I bumped into Christian Slater coming out of it in the West End.

I thought it was incredibly boring, the only good point was the dog. IMHO it out-acted Will Smith.
Are you actually speaking english, or are you just making up words as you go along? I do that too...
Re: I am Legend

Re: I am Legend
Excellent start ruined by completely pussying out on the end and the over-reliance on cgi.
It hinted at, then completely abandoned the idea that the vampires were learning and becoming intelligent and ended up being just like every recent zombie movie including the tacked on happy ending.
What's wrong with a downbeat ending? What's wrong with challenging the audience? Are audiences so dumb that they have to have good and evil so clearly distinguished? My favourite aspect of the book was the idea that the vampires create their own society and the "hero" becomes the monster.
Movies like these need to be depressing. Remember the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre? The tagline was something like. 'Who will survive, and what would be left of them'. Leatherface survives and the girl, though alive. would probably be in a mental hospital for the rest of her life. I saw The Living Dead at Manchester Morgue when I was a kid and the ending chilled my spine.
The happy ending just sugars the pill... that everything will be okay, go back to bed.

Re: I am Legend
Watched most of it and it was nothing special was a below average remake again imo.
To much cgi and the ending was a cop out as other have already said.
The omega man was better with Charlton Heston.
