Bush seems to think he can sit everyone down around the campfire and make them change postions they've held for eons

Hamas is never going to change its opposition to the state of Israel even existing so any peace achieved is always going to be short termed

The moderates can compromise all they want but until the extremists on both sides are eliminated there will never be peace IMHO

The only thing you can say with bush is at least he's not pussy footing around the issues like those in the past have
