Indeed.

Ron Atkinson called him the perfect scout- he would attend anywhere, be it park pitch or Old Trafford and then come back and say a straight Yes or No.

Soundtrack to the film "Kelly's Heroes", the song "Burning Bridges" at the end of the film being an absolute cracker.

'Flash Gordon' by Queen is sooooooooo under-rated.

Camp homoerotic rock-opera comedy (how's that for a unique genre, apply that term to another album if you can!!) at it's finest. !wink!

The original soundtacks to the silent films of the 20s are magic too, but I haven't heard them. Nor has anyone else. !nuts!

Seriously, I like Flash Gordon, but, of late:-

'The Virgin Suicides' soundtrack (Sophia Coppella's directorial debut?) by French electro-chill outfit, Air.

Air---were they the combo behind the gorgeous Cherry Blossom Girl?

If we're talking Queen, I think Highlander trumps Flash Gordon. Good shout too on Merry Christmas, Mr Lawrence, TLW.

Agreed- totally. Good spot!

I'll have to research soundtracks by the one artist on imdb to make a proper judgement, though.

Just remembered this one, one of the most underated flims of the eighties, and one of the most haunting soundtracks ever.
The film's name? Diva. One of the best french films ever, witty, sexy, surreal and for the French it's not miserable at all. Quel surprise!

Oh, as a side note, a friend of mine painted the star (Wilheminia Fernandez) a few years ago.

The Lost Boys OST is my choice, especially the brillaint cover version of 'People Are Strange' by Echo And The Bunnymen and the excellent 'Cry Little Sister' by Gerrard McMann, one of the most haunting songs you'll ever hear.

For Original Music score it has to be anything by John Williams or the Lord Of The Rings theme.
