excellent show about forms of execution, was quite amusing to see Portillo being told to put his oxygen mask on or he will die then to see him staring gormlessly at the doc
seriously though this was both disturbing and fascinating at the same time

Missed it........sounds good.
If it's repeated on iPlayer, I'll watch it.

You going mental on those dvds are ya? I bet the old girl next door did open 'em and spent all day sealing them back up.

Knowing my luck -like the recent 'Atom' mini-series- it won't be repeated on iPlayer.
Mind you, I managed to download 'Atom' elsewhere *cough*
Very good, but listening about quantum mechanics at 3am isn't recommended. I dreamt about string theory last night and overlaid.

Re: tonights Horizon
saw the Louis one too, wasn't that dark IMO, quite light hearted actually. this one was nasty, using crash dummies to show what happens when hangings go wrong and a dead pig simulating the electric chair - complete with legs almost severed with burns
the most disturbing part was when he came up with a painless, infallable form of killing and the Yank pro-death supporters rejected it as 'it wasn't painful enough' !!!

Pro-death/capital punishment supporters freak me out.
I stopped at burning cats, though the voices still pester me from time to time.

He sounds like a nice guy to go to when it's medical time.
