true enough about morrowing, still I liked the fact that some areas were seriously no-go until you were hard as nails

got a few mods for oblivion, such as the horse armor etc. Not go the weather one, but i've got a ring of nighteye, no issues with darkness for me ;-)

When I first started playing Oblivion, all the people of Skingrad were mentioning that the Count doesn't see people so I sneaked into the castle and picked the locks to see him. He spoke civilly and told me I must leave.

I turned around to go and he just went mental, punching me in the face! I thought I might get arrested by killing him (he's needed for a few quests anyway) so I ran. He chased me all around Skingrad and the only way I got him off my back was jumping off a big bridge where he couldn't follow and getting on my horse and fucking off to Anvil!

The downside of the game is that you cannot kill the really important guys while they still have a role to play. Yes, it would be annoying to find that you needed them weeks after despatching them, but that's nearer to life than them being knocked out after every murderous attack.

Tried to stop the Blackwood Company guys killing off the villagers of Water's Edge, but they were just knocked out for seconds and came back into murdering mode.

So much for my attempts to do good.

Aye, I got the ring too but I just use it in the dungeons. Not got the horse armour, just the saddlebags that means I can get my horse to carry stuff.

'Cities alive at night' and 'Illumination within' are good mods. The latter makes the windows of buildings light up at night, so it looks like people are home, and the former makes cities look alive upon approaching them in the dark.

TNR is another that changes all the faces, making them less blotchy.

Aye, I know what you mean. On the down side, if you want to buy the big house in Skingrad, the guy you supposed to speak to is killable. I couldn't find him anywhere in Skingrad and finally found him just up the road towards the Imperial City.

He must have gone out for a walk and something had killed him. Probably a bear as there was one nearby. Now I can't buy the bloody house at all.

There is a cheat to bring him back to life if I desire, but I'm putting up with it so far.

Yes, the Dark Elf in the Achemists store in Skingrad. Funny.

Other funny moments are when you see someone creeping upto another and pickpocket them. It happened at the stables in Skingrad yesterday and the guards shouted 'theif!' and slayed him. I looked in his pockets and he's stolen an apple....lol.

I bought the house in Skingrad through the Count's chamberlain. They said someone was living there, but they'd throw him out. Then you get the dame at Colovian Traders to work as servant there----constant supply of shepherd's pies and mead on tap. Hate to think of the damage that diet and Trumpy's innards would do to the city's sewers.

Best one there is the mad party in the house opposite, where you have to kill all the other guests without being seen.

I'm not in the Dark Brotherhood, Carac. I'm trying to be a good lad.

I started again last week so only a level 5 Breton at the moment. No murders and only 1 assualt.

I'm a right little angel. Just off to Leyawiin tonight to get some Black Bow bandits and get my reccomendation for the Mages Guild. I'll tell Mazoga that you're sorry for killing her !laugh!
