when its in stock the 4gb (storage) version can be bought from toyrus.
i bought mine at xmas for ?219.99.

http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Product.aspx/T ... top/815489

the 7" screen can be a bit small on some websites.
but if you want something light/portable then its very good.

if you don't like linux, you can install xp instead (if you have a copy),
but you would need some extra memory.
(from 512mb to 1gb @?14 from play.com)

so far, very happy with it :)

if you hold on a few months asus are releasing another PC EEE but with a bigger screen + another version with xp on it.

good luck

no internal hard drive only a 2 gb or 4 gb internal storage (it soldered/fixed - so you can't remove it).
you can connect an external 'usb' hard drive.
you can also connect an external dvd player.

for extra memory you can plug in a usb pen/flash drive (any gb size),
there is also an sd card slot (i have 8gb sd card plugged in).

The only colour acceptable for this season....white and if you call me La once more Liz, i'll set the vermin catchers on you.

It's not all singing, all dancing....but we've got hefty other stuff for that.

We took it to Hungary and when Jim got it out on the plane, men and women commented on how small it was (first time i've ever heard that)
