Are they the same ads? Most ads are 'rolled' which means they come from a different url. Keep blocking and they'll stop eventually (until a totally new ad appears).
If you frequent the Sky Sports website, they ad new ads every day, and you just can't keep up sometimes.

I think there's a quicker way, but I've forgotten. I've not used adblock since about June as I've been using Opera.
Opera's adblock is a lot simpler but I don't know if it's as customisable.
