Bearded barstard gets Northern Rock on a plate>

Post by jimslip »

?25 Billion of our money guaranteeing Northern Rock doesn't collapse and the whole thing handed to 'Branston' for nothing so he can collect any profits. Sounds like the perfect deal, no wonder the cunt slithered his way to China to arse-lick Brown. It make ya fucking sick to the stomach !puke!

Saw the TV interview from China when Brown announced the 'deal', Branson was standing behind him licking his lips at the prospect of making a killing at the tax payers expense, the cheeky cnut went on to say that Northern Rock had not been dicussed during his travels with Brown, pull the other one.

The other option would be for the government to nationalise NR.

No point blaming the guy who snaps up a bargain after the disaster
as much as i loathe branson

We had the same thing in Australia in the 90s...
3 banks went belly up to the tune of 12 billion
Banks assets(non defaulted loans)bought for a song

You would think by now governments around the world would learn
Bad lending practices lead to disasters
Needs urgent legislation

The thing that really makes me sick is that Wall Street where the bulk of the money has been raised from paid itself a wopping 24 billion US in bonuses less than 6 months before all this sub prime shit hit the fan

No you can't legislate against the way a business funds its activities but you can make damn sure all the people who can't afford to borrow aren't enticed into the market with ludicrous lending practises like
100+% of valuation with no deposit

The level of defaults is running at record highs so its little wonder theres a credit squeeze effecting even those with good businesses
