What British do you like? I haven't watch that much American films of late, and was wonderig which on the forumites like.My favourites are, as follows

Bob's weekend
Local Hero
Nuns on the run
The Pope must Die
The Tall Guy
Gregory's Girl
Rob Roy

some of these where mixed in hollywood, haven't seen much of the ealing classics and that.

two of that three have been remade in Hollywood, I wonder if they ever get round to re-doing the last one?

Get Carter?

Been done. Although the title and a few vague plotlines are all that is similar. Crap, don't bother.

There was also a 'blaxspoitation' version called "Hit Man" was on TCM the other night. Very Shaft like.

Rise Of The Foot Soldier (Dont bother with Essex Boys. Not a patch on this one)
The Firm
Hope and Glory (very under rated but great movie)
Mona Lisa (Dirty! Filthy! Nasty!...and I dont wanna hear anything about tea!!!!!
