SHAMELESS on TV wot a load of bollocks

Main character Frank thinks he has won half a million quid in the lottery and starts flaunting his wealth and when realising he hasnt actually won he keeps up the pretence. So his daughter sets up a mad wheeze whereby pretending that his son has been kidnapped and they need half a million pound ransome so gangsters and the police get involved in a supposed shootout. I wont bore you with the rest but it gets worse and worse. On its own it is a good reason to throw your TV out of the window. So many programs exist in a meaningless delusional reality. A few aspect of Shameless portray real working class grittiness but it is perverse to mix this with a completely barmy plot.

Soaps are even worse as they pretend to reflect realiity when they do nothing of the sort. Maybe people ought to get a better grip of reality rather than watching endless barmy programs.
