My new optical mouse.

Post by Trumpton »

Yippee! Today I finally managed to buy an optical mouse for my lappy. It is made by a company called 'Trust'. They are a Dutch. I've installed it and it's work splendidly. I purchased it from Asda and it only cost ?6.45.

!happy!

They're just about all optical now.

Ball Mice had a ball underneath that rolled as you moved your mouse, so the pc knew where you were pointing. Modern mice have a laser that looks at your desk and notes the movement, so it's optical.

A bit like the laser that looks at the surface of a cd or dvd as it spins. It's a optical drive.
