There are two pipes Lara but both are at the same end of the radiator.
The cold spot is the opposite corner and it was suggested not circulating properly because of how the water goes in.

I would have to check Trumpy but yes it probably is.
It's not a repair though more some iffy DIY by the previous owner that is now becoming noticeable.

Re: Radiator cold spots
Upgrade your pump initially, flush the system with a proper flushing agent which a decent plumber will do all in for ?400.
Failing that, you might have to upgrade boiler, especially if its old.
Avoid BG, they subcontract work out, you are better getting a quote from a CORGI installer initially, he'll TRY and sell you an upgraded package, but tell him you have heard about a system flush and a new pump, he'll begrudgingly agree

If I recall the system flush was offered by British Gas but the emphasis was on new everything.
The boiler is relatively new just a few years old so when they starting saying that to needed replacing something didn't add up and made me think everything they said was suspect.

Re: Radiator cold spots
If you are based in Midlands, let me know off forum. I'll flush it and change the pump at cost price only

Okay, mate...........I'd have done a sterling job for ya as well.
Take my advice, get a couple of CORGI lads in and compare prices, but come back and report here, I'll put you right

Re: Bleed the system.
Isn't there a thing, (I've an oil burner), where the plumber resets the whole pumping system, i.e he bleeds from the boiler house , thus bleeding any trapped air in the system, not just individual radiators.
Also, how far is the cold radiator in relation to the pump/boiler, sometimes a pump (depending on size), won't pump the heat all the way.
