I hope they cancel that nonsense down the Mall in November, cause I'm getting a bit sick of it. Okay, so a generation was lost foolishly fighting for king and country, but that was 90 years ago and we still get it year after year. Yawnarama.

Alternatively, we choose to show respect to those who made a choice to do something that we, hopefully, will never have to.

Pity they didn't repeat the programme they made a few years ago on the reason why...
Far more interesting to watch..the state of the runway,weather conditions, and the plane itself,the Airspeed Ambassador,the above wing,with piston engines.

It proved a death trap after the report came out.Yet they went ahead and kept trying to get it airbourne.The poor thing wasn't made for it.To do with the wheel arrangements.Snow & slush it wasn't made for,and that proved it.

Only one Ambassador survives today,being done up from scratch at Duxford.
