There was a case a few months back they tricked their way into a pensioners house i dont think they were bonafide plumbers though.

I've just realised this is the case of the lorry driver from near me.

Here we see Ingram- the scum on the left; ignore the easily led sadcase on the right who at least tried to stop him- 'remorseful' as his brief put it.

Mike_CFC- can you pop round and deal with him...I'll supply the chainsaw.

The glowing "Statistics" quoted by the government, hasn't stopped the 500,000 migrants from the UK last year as citing, "Fear of personal attack" as one of the reasons they are leaving.

The problem in the UK, is that there is no pro active policing anymore. The fools thought that by festooning the whole country in CCTV it would prevent crime. In fact CCTV has merely helped to solve crime.

So, you can sleep easy in your bed, knowing that, if and when you are happy slapped, mugged or stabbed; it is very likely the police will catch the culprits thanks to CCTV.

Personally, I'd rather not be attacked in the first place! This can only be achieved by active policing, I mean prevention, by policing on the streets.

Another idea I have had, is in relation of gangs of hoody thugs that lurk about estates intimidating people. I think an unofficial directive should be made to all police forces, instructing them to bring in for questioning any group of youths that are subject of a complaint, no matter how trivial.

In this way, for example, if the louts swore at someone walking past, that person would simply phone the police, they would arrive in a van and take the yobs back for some really slow, arduous and searching questioning. Lots of form filling, waiting etc, etc. None of them would necessarily be charged, but it would turn THEM into victims instead of us. How many times would it take before they started behaving themselves? Not may i think.

I understand this was the system that operated very successfully in New York, under their, "Zero Tolerance" system. It was a way of "Harrassing" bad behaviour out of people.
