I just skimed through these posts and caught the colour issue of Obama being black or not or whatever...So chastise me for not paying attention bu the one thing that came to mind was someone saying people cal themselves black for a trend? How bizarre.

Its my knowledg about america that anyone who is not or appears not to be white is regarded as black or just ethnic for merely not being white.

I regard myself as black because I have more ethnic features than I do white even thoguh I am mixed.

The way i see it , if I have to keep explaining myself as mixed race then t those who do not know, I will aloways be regarded as black.

I'm certainly not saying it to be fashionable. If I really wanted to be fashionable then its probably best to say you are gay. Is that not the cool thing. Mind you you cant be black and gay. You have to be either one to be considered cool by bohemian elitist standards.

I'm too street for all that...Oh and I make porn films so that makes me well dodgy.
