Possibly, the last thing big companies would want is their wholesome family image being destroyed by the NoTW running a story about "Coco Pops perfect dad is sleazy porn star"
We have need of you again, great king.

Re: Tv work vs Adult Entertainment
I did both for many years.
I stopped doing the TV work as porn took over my life. It is a lot down to luck whether your face fits or not. Some mainstream producers won't touch you with a barge pole, but again many will.
Also if you have the talent that should get you more jobs then you get turned down for.
Of course some will blank you cold, so expect a tough time.

I might be wrong, but did'nt the famous Mr Omar Williams once have a role in Casualty?.Did'nt seem to do him any harm.
But no doubt if a self-rightous gutter rag like the NOTW got wind of such a story,Eddie would'nt hear the end of it.
Or am i being sarrcy?

Re: Tv work vs Adult Entertainment
To Be honest the press are not that interested in small bit acting parts, I was in many big TV shows from Waiting for God, The Crystal maze, even did children's tv shows like Boot Street Gang. Was in sketch shows for Alexis Sayle. It did not affect me that much.

Re: Tv work vs Adult Entertainment
Thank you I have tried to make my little mark. But back when I was first doing porn all the models used to be on many different agencies we would share work, go and work in photographers studios at nights just to learn stuff.
And we went for many different styles of work. I have been really lucky and have worked on some huge events. I even used to work on all the Capital Radio best discos in town, and be a guest for old Dr Fox when he was in the evening show.
I still do cross over now and do bits and pieces, I just love and (hate) the entertainment business there is so much to see and do.
One of the funniest jobs I did was dressed and made up like Cindy Crawford working with Sue Pollard for the learning programmes For Schools. Something for a maths course. Which is funny as I left school with no exams and was now involved in teaching maths on T.V.

I went to a few of those Capital Radio disco's in the late 80's when Pat Sharp and Mick Brown hosted them, some were at the Palais(Hammersmith) if i remember rightly.
I used to wind up Mick Brown alot(with him being a Millwall fan).
Those disco's did get saucy and i had my touches.
I was once curious going into the porn industry, just did'nt have the bottle i guess.
it's definetley not as easy as people think !happy!Marino wrote:
