HD. Dead and buried?

Post by James not Bond »

Just watched the news. It seems Blu-ray has won the battle.

Now what?

Toshiba's HD-DVD format is on the way out, not HD itself

Now what? Well you go out and buy a Blu-Ray Hi-Definition DVD system, assuming you don't have one already.

Simple.

I still have a telly personally built by John Logie Baird.

I'll wait a bit longer to see what else comes out, cheaper.

When the players hit a hundred quid and the discs are a tenner I might pull the trigger.

Some people are just lucky that way, Hexy. If you were around 25 years ago, I'm sure you'd have bought a VHS and not a Keith Rasputin, and an Amiga and not an Atari.

Not like some of us !blush!

In case you're wondering, I'm not trying to create more posts---there was some weird message coming through when I tried posting. Strange.

I've just done the same.
