I warned the Mods. Hopefully they've sorted the glitch.

Proves my point. Hexy is switched on with regards technology, while some of us are left holding the ZX81.

I miss my Amiga(s)! My favourite games were Secret Of Monkey Island (which I think is one of the best games ever!!), James Pond 2, The Newzealand Story (I have the remake for my DS) and Chuck Rock.

Soooo tempted to get Mummy Hex to dig mine out for me. She probably still has it somewhere

I'm aware of Monkey Island (never played it, though). God, can't recall what I used to play on the Atari, apart from Pirates---long hours at a time.

Too early to tell

Until toshiba come out and categorically say production has been stopped I'll take any news with a grain of salt

I think many think the same way as dual blue-rey/hd-dvd machines are being bought

Curiously, though, it seems there?s still life in HD-DVD yet. One Akeem, who is employed at Circuit City as a sales assistant, told Reuters that many players that used each format were still being sold and there was even a player, offered by LG, offered for roughly 600 dollars that can use both HD and Blu-ray format. Also Michael from Best Buy, added that customers were still purchasing Toshiba products apparently to a belief that, as Michael stated, that these customers ?figure that HD discs will become cheaper."

From what I've seen the porn industry is still in the hd corner

Time will tell

Who knows what to believe in this war of formats. The belief is that Blu -Ray has a policy that is anti porn and if HD becomes dominant in that direction then Blu Ray may get left behind.

Personally from what I've seen Blu Ray looks that bit better.

Whatever the outcome HD is not going without a fight...Even if it has porn as its advantage it will maintain a presence...If the prices come down that is.

I admit, I admire Sonys tactics though. In the beginning everyone thought they wre going to come to a grinding halt and like a left hok out the blue...they are back in the race and shunning porn too. Brave.
