back in the day i used to be a redcoat at somerwest world ( butlins minehead if you like ). bob monkhouse came down to do a one-off gig so we redcoats got to do all the stage hand stuff for him

now, apart from being funny as fuck - he'd done an 18+ show - he got us all backstage after the gig and fed us advice and stories about how to make it in the business

oh, and he gave us all a piss load of ale too
