Chelsea batter the East End pikeys at The Boleyn !happy!,while the yids are hammered by the Brummies at St Andrews.Arsenal very jammy as usual,Villa very unlucky not to get three points to keep the pressure for fourth place on the scouse brothers.
Highlight of the day was Rottenham losing, and losing big.
And they still think they'll finish 4th next season !laugh!
Moan of the day was Lampard's sending off.No way should of he got sent off. Then again Frank Lampard should be sent off for just being Frank Lampard !whistle!

Just watching Sunday Supplement(Sky Sports).
Even the journos are saying that Lampard's sending off was ludicrous.
Am i hearing right? !shocked!
Don't think we'll appeal the sending off.Last thing we want is a four game ban for Frank.

Franks was a yellow at best. Claude should have gone for his stamp on the Hammers lad, who, in fairness didn't whine and roll around for an age.
Carlton Coles' elbow on Paolo was a bit snide though, but benefit of the doubt, as Carlton used to play for us.
Cheeky Gary Linekars quip of 'Nice to see Ashley Cole scoring again' was a bit snide, considering what a sex pest old jug ears is!!

Brilliant win for us Ace.I don't know about you mate but i still want Grant booted out.The win was just 'papering over the cracks' and nothing has changed about Grant imo.Even Mr A is starting to see that we need a change for next season.
Newcastle are well flirting with relegation now.I thought they were safe but still believe there's 2 teams down there worse off than Newcastle and will not improve.Derby we know are down already, they have as much of staying up than i have of shagging Cate Harrington.
No doubt Robches will be estatic of Newcastle's plight !wink!Ace wrote:

Newcastle will be safe, I fancy Derby and Fulham, and would' Love It, Just Love It' if drity fuckers Reading went as well.
Maybe Cech could send a farewell card to Stephen 'The Cunt' Hunt as they go down a division

Re: Normal service resumes in the Premiership
Who reckons Arsenal are wobbling?.Four points dropped in a week and facing a tough game in Milan on Tuesday.Arsenal's day of reckoning i think.
They visit Stamford Bridge three weeks from today and we'll be in no mood to them favours.
I still think Manure will win it.They look deadly atm.I think the table will look like this come the end of the season.
Man U
Chelsea
Arsenal
Everton (hopefully)

Re: Normal service resumes in the Premiership
Not quite, Mike.
Spurs' result was terrible but Ramos made the right decision to rest almost all the first team. On Thursday we've got Eindhoven, a far more important fixture and we need everyone rested.
The league's an irrelevance to us. We've qualified for Europe thanks to demolishing your mob. Our disastrous start to the season meant we were never going to finish top five this year.
I'm glad that Ramos took a completely pragmatic approach, although a spanking from crap like Brum still stings. We had all of the possession but not none of the desire. Such is life. I won't remember this game when we lift the UEFA Cup. And we will.

chatterji:My dig at your beloved Lillywhites was purely tounge in cheek mate.
I know Spurs don't give a monkeys about the League for this season as their eggs are firmly now in the UEFA Cup basket, which i for one hope they meet Bayern Munich in the final as they would make better finalists than Everton would,i won't even mention Bolton !laugh!
But,don't you think that making a fist of your remaining ten games would set out your stall for next season?.If no,then i'm definetley sticking a tenner on Chelsea spanking you lot at WHL in a few weeks time as we really need the points more than you. !grin!.
Anyways, good luck against the Bus drivers(PSV) on Thursday, not that you'll need it !happy!.chatterji wrote:

Re: Normal service resumes in the Premiership
I know mate, but you know how it goes...sometimes my sense of humour stutters when people fail to realise the glories of THFC. Might be something to do with having to sit through a decade of shite to get to the point when we finally look like we might be a threat again.
I think the game on the 19th with your lot is going to be a classic. You want revenge. We want to show it wasn't a fluke. At The Lane, I'll be disappointed with anything less than a draw. The thing is if we can't play King and Woody at the back, you'll score, especially if that diving genius Drogba plays. Personally, I hope that Ballack doesn't play because to me he looks better in the middle, this season, than Lampard. Am I wrong? A 4-5-1 against us will always cause us problems because our midfield is not great, although I've still got high hopes for Huddlestone. Grant's come in for so much flak after the League Cup that I think he'll play a conservative formation and field the best players available. My prediction? 1-1 (Keane, Drogba).
The only fly in the ointment will be if the Wafer Cup means that we can't field a full side, because we don't have your depth. If we have to play Kaboul and Dawson at the back, you'll score a ton. Shudder.
