Our hard working ex PM Mr Blair is to receive his congressional medal of honour this week in washington.

He is getting it for being america's "best friend" in the war on terror.......and also for reforming the UK public sector ?????(that bit i don't understand ?)

He waived his fee to receive the medal, BUT will get ?150K for giving 2 speeches the following day......

Oh well must keep working.....

PS Why was Prince H photographed wearing a US hat ????? ..he he after a medal from them as well ???
