Greatest Songs To be Kept Off Of No 1
Re: Greatest Songs To be Kept Off Of No 1
I assume that website that was set up to get justice for songs like Vienna that never made it to number one never took off then?
The idea was for people to vote on a song that should've been no.1 but wasn't, and everyone download it in the same week.

Re: Greatest Songs To be Kept Off Of No 1
There are numerous gems that should have hit the top and had to make do with the runner-up spot (in addition to the tunes mentioned above)
Bits & Pieces - Dave Clark 5
Heart Full Of Soul - Yardbirds
My Generation - The Who
I Can't Let Go - The Hollies
God Only Know - The Beach Boys
Waterloo Sunset - The Kinks
Build Me Up Buttercup - The Fortunes
Ruby Don't Take Your Love To Town - Kenny Rogers & The First Edition
Often better than what was number one at the time...
and that's just the 60's
