Sobers Sixes
Re: Sobers Sixes
New Zealand crowds for the ongoing test have been very poor, no atmosphere inside the ground at all it seems, mind you the cricket has been pretty dull.
20 20 the games over in couple of hours, all action, sixs fours wickets run outs, everything condensened into a 40 over match.
Time will tell how the Indian leagues do, but one things for sure 20 20 is here to stay.

Up to a point. I recall seeing the pavilion at Lords last year being half empty during both their test matches. And how many genuine test cricket fans populate the western terrace at Headingley?

Re: Sobers Sixes
The majority of test cricket grounds in NZ are rugby grounds. They have to use 'drop-in' wickets which are notoriously slow and low.
