I read that she had a stroke yesterday and was taken into hospital. ITN had a small tribute to her on their early evening bulletin. She was only 63.

Terrible tragedy in her life a few years ago when her daughter died in a skydiving tragedy.

Very sad.I remember her daughter dying.She was of course, devastated. She never got over it and her latter years were unhappy ones as a result.63 is no age.She was very attractive and a very good news reader to boot.
