BBC2 - The White Season

Just been watching 'Last Orders' from Friday evening on BBC2.I found the documentary quite moving but i was dumbfounded by the attitudes of some of the people featured.

They simply felt sorry for themselves,stuck in the past and refusing to accept change,by using the easy way out by blaming their ethnic neighbours rather than blaming the Government that has betrayed them for so long.

We were all born the same,it's down to us to better ourselves,only the delusional of people expect things to be handed to them on a plate.

The crux of the matter and the reason why we have so many immigrants in Britain is because of the lazy cunts of Britain who won't wake up at the crack of dawn to empty bins or clean offices and do many unskilled jobs of that ilk,prefering and content to pick up a dole cheque to fund their needs.

Why should these people be given a choice if they did'nt use their education to their best advantage?

If the Government got tough and said enough is enough and told the lazy cunts of Britain to go out and work,because you're NOT getting a penny,we would'nt be in the mess we're in.

Labour was always meant to be the voice of the working class but instead became New Labour and now favours the feckless folk of Britain.

Like i said,i've got no problem with immigration,though i think it should be more controled.But the Government should be more understanding and favourable to the working class population of Britain as opposed to biting the hands that feed them.

Only in an ideal world !whistle!

Immigrants had to be brought in Steve,because lazy cunts would'nt do the jobs.

The problem today is that immigrants are given everything on a plate by New Labour when the Old Labour party would only fund them minimal.

My parents came over here from Portugal in 1970,i think Wilson was P.M at the time,not sure as i was born in 1971.They started off with sheltered accomadation,no handouts other than child benefit for myself and my older brother and it was down to my father to make things better,and he did by going out to work and pay into the British tax system.

30 odd years on they are now retired,mortgage paid and enjoying life.A sense of pride they have as they achived that without ANY Government handouts.

I come from working class background but feel us working class don't exist anymore.

I don't mind paying tax,we have to pay tax for god's sake.But there's certain causes that i do object paying tax towards.I'm sure many of you would agree with that.

Who was the bod that once said "we're all prostitutes"?.Damn right.

I watched 'Rivers of Blood' last night and was sickened.

They called it 'the white season'. About us.

All they're showing are ignorant bigots and lazy cunts who won't work.

The irony of that is I recently got sent a forward, probably originated by the smug little Englanders that actually believe such things.

The joke---and joke it is---was about a new immigrant walking about the streets of an English town wanting to thank a native for providing him with a new life. Each person he stops is also an immigrant---Somalian, Pakistani, Polish. When the newbie asks where all the real English are, he's told, "They're all working."

Go into any town centre during the day, check out the pubs and the bookies, and you'll see the truth of that.

Up here, in some of our former industrial towns and cities, there are generations of some families who haven't done a day's work in their lives. And you can be sure these are the same scum who complain about Asians/Africans/east Europeans etc coming over here in order to live off benefits.

Agreed. It was mainly cheap labour but not only that. Hundreds & thousands of men died in the was 13-20 years before and Britain was still rebuilding itself after fighting against the biggest evil fucker of all time. There were 3 jobs available for every man back then and that's why potential workers from the old colonies were encouraged to come. It wasn't just about cheap labour and I think if you think about it Terry, you did an injustice to people who really did live under slavery by comparing the two. You went OTT there.

On a side note: I f your populace don't want to work, immigration is a cure, but not actually the best answer because the reasons why people don't want certain jobs now will crop up in the youth of 2nd and 3rd generation immigrants. It cycles around again. Prevention is always better than cure and so it would pay in the long run for governments to find out why people don't want to work. I think it's more a lack of ambition than actual laziness (but this is a totally different subject)..

Surely though Sam,lack of ambition relates to laziness and is normally passed down from father to son.

It really makes me laugh when some Northerners reckon all Southerners,mainly Londoners live like kings.How very wrong they are.We have the same problems and hardships as they do oop North.Only the most stereotypical,full of themselves Londoner would disagree.

Racism has never been the problem with our society.It's the long going 'battle of the classes' that has been the problem,and always will be the problem for as long as the world turns.

I'll watch 'Rivers of Blood' later on,in the risk that my foot will go through the TV screen when Enoch Powell's face appears.

Oh aye, the Jeremy Kyle(sp?) fans are the first to shout their mouth off.

Having said all that, I don't believe the problem of 'dole scroungers' is as bad as people believe. When I left school -under Thatcher's last few years- unemployment was way higher than today. It was fucking horrible as a kid back then because you just had no plan on what you wanted to do/become. Most kids that got a job either fell lucky or got handed jobs by family members. I fell lucky, but a lot of intelligent, decent kids were left to rot in dole queues. Of course, if your parents could support you, college and University were options.

Like I say, things can't be that bad because if they were the economy would collapse.

As for the 'white season'. Well, I'm 32 and I've never had a 'season' specifically geared toward my race. Weird isn't it? I mean, I've watched loads of films about African tribes, Amazonian tribes, Aussie Aborigines.......the list goes on..... But nothing, in 32 years (maybe more, I don't know) on people like me.

So anyway..... at least it was a change.....something refreshing.

Alas, they choose to just show the scum of society and I find that disappointing.
