Well Cardiff if they win it won't be getting an entry into the Uefa Cup as they are Welsh last time I checked.
I also wouldn't be betting on the Semi Finals being half full either, you gotta remember this years Semi Finals are at Wembley for the first time so I feel that these Semis will be classed as these clubs "finals" as it were, and sold out.
I just hope that WBA win it as they seem to be the best foorballing team left in it and would hate that gansta cunt Redknapp to win a raffle never mind the FA Cup.
The FA Money Men

PEOPLE think Stephen Hawking is so clever, but when you ask him a question and he is typing in the answer on his little screen, how do we know he isn't just looking up the answer on the Internet?
Re: The FA Money Men
One of the things that annoys me is some of the plebs that get tickets for the Kop End now. It used to be a great place to be. The fans obviously supported the reds but were always sporting if the opposition played well and one of the things that I always liked was the opposition keeper getting clapped when he came to defend the Kop End.
Not anymore. All you get now is the "who are ya" chants and the constant baiting of the away fans with all the insults that go with it.
Why can't they channel their energy into supporting our own our side?
It's not everybody but I would estimate it's getting towards 50% of those that do.
There's even been a fans group called Reclaim the Kop trying to bring back some of the spirit but to say that it doesn't seem to be working would be an understatement.

Re: The FA Money Men
You are right regarding Cardiff- the Press haven't caught up with that one yet.
Re: The FA Money Men
They have now. The FA confirmed tonight that there would be no special dispensation for Cardiff if they won the trophy.
As for Redknapp, I am in 100% agreement with you, Crofter.

This I don't understand at all.
Yes, Cardiff is in Wales and so strictly speaking Cardiff City is a Welsh team.
But Cardiff City play in the ***English*** Championship and have done for many decades, so as far as football is concerned that must surely mean that to all intents and purposes, they're an ENGLISH team .... must it not?!
And let's take a hypothetical situation (although dafter things have happened - like Wimbledon winning the Cup in '88 after only gaining admission to the old Fourth Division in '77):
Cardiff win promotion to the Premiership and finish in the Top 4.
Does that mean that simply because Cardiff is in Wales, they wouldn't be admitted to the Champion's League (despite playing in the English Premiership and finishing in what would normally be a CL qualifying berth)?
Or even if they finished 6th in the Premiership - would that mean no admission to the UEFA Cup on account of their "Welshness"?
If Cardiff do in fact go on to win the Cup and don't get admitted to the UEFA Cup (whereas any of the other 3 teams would), I'd say they have grounds to feel very aggrieved and be seriously pissed off.

Re: The FA Money Men
No Mike, sorry, just realised I didn't post on topic!
The FA is fundamentally incompetent. It has consistently chosen terrible managers for the national team and when a competent individual came along (the Swede was a steady hand) it allowed the medja to derail the whole thing. It demands nothing of the players who piss on the honour of playing for England with their attitude and misplaced arrogance. I'm still spitting over our failure in the Euros.
I've been going to Spurs since I was a kid. Totally against the price hikes, wages and celebrity-culture that the FA has sanctioned and encouraged in pursuit of 'brand football'. But it's the clubs conspiring too.
Spurs has been ripping the fans off for years and serving up shite too. They see us as customers not fans, to be milked for every penny.
At least CFC has a decent stadium and location. I love WHL because it's so real, and has an amazing atmosphere, but it's a shithole that's barely changed since the 1970s. I object to paying so much and getting so little back.
As for Levy I see what that greasy little fucker's up too, as do other Spurs' fans with any understanding of his share manoeuvres. Most Spurs fans think he's the golden boy, but he's just building the club to sell it, in a fairly transparent 5-year plan. I see Spurs going the way of CFC in a couple of years' time and, no offence, but I don't want that. I want us to build and achieve rather than just buy success off the shelf. Otherwise it's hollow.
I'm less passionate about football now because it's no longer about the game. I get more out of coaching the under 16s that I do every weekend than watching Spurs most weeks. They play for the shirt, although it's taken ages to beat cheating habits like Drogba-diving out of them.

As they are under the Welsh FA, they cannot qualify for Europe via English club competitions. IF they want to play in Europe, they can resign from the English league and join the League of Wales. But they choose to play in the English league for the money, and knew the rules before the season started.

I wasn't aware of that.
I'd automatically assumed that since they played in the English league, they'd be governed by the English FA.
If what you say is correct, then I assume then that the same must apply to Swansea City and Wrexham, and that Berwick Rangers are governed by the English FA despite playing in the Scottish league?
Seems like a strange arrangement.

Re: The FA Money Men
Good points you made chatterji. The clubs have no choice but to conspire to the FA's 'brand football'.Like i said mate,it's a buisness, now, not a sport. And we're the pawns that the FA and the clubs are milking.
I gave up buying replica shirts years ago, after they changed every year.
Every premiership club treats fans now like the customer,ie:we have your money, now fuck off!!!.
Btw mate, there is a seperate thread on here to glorify Chelsea's greatest defeat since Scarborough knocked us out of the Milk Cup,or our 7-0 defeat to Forest back in 1990 !laugh!.Do feel free to add your tribute !wink!.Also, well done on spanking the pikeys at the weekend.Anyone who beats those cunts deserves a pat on the back.
Now go out and do the same to the Bus drivers on Thursday !thumbsup!

Re: The FA Money Men
Cardiff are likely to win the Welsh FA cup anyway,so no harm is likely to be done.
They're hardly likely to win our FA cup anyway. My money is on West Brom to win it.At odds of 7/2,i'm biting the bookies hands off.
