Thank you admin,i do stand corrected.

Still,i think West Brom would of made more of an effort in the Prem than Derby as West Brom would of possibly still had Koumas and Camara(sp?) playing for them.Derby did'nt have any quality players and when they did spend in January's transfer window, the writing was already on the wall.BGAFD Admin wrote:

The parachute payments are (or at least were) funded by reducing the TV money that the newly promoted clubs receive.

So I was actually agreeing with you - the promoted clubs should get that money.

Derby have approached this season a lot more astutely than people give them credit for. Unlike many promoted sides they realise, as the chances of a swift return to the Championship are high, instead of haemorraging money on over-priced players they have chosen, instead of splashing the cash, to be frugal and build financially for the long term. In Chairman Adam Pearson they have also attracted one of the most 'up and coming' chairmen in the football league, who used his Leeds United background very well by knowing exactly what NOT to do with Premiership money
Next season will prove very interesting indeed - as well as the usual suspects such as West Brom & Watford vying for promotion we have Stoke, Bristol, Hull & even Plymouth Argyle all in the running

They're locking them up today, they're throwing away the key...I wonder who it be tomorrow, you or me?
